I hear a lot of talk about sponsors on the teleconferences and I'm still not sure what they are or how to get one.

Is it an individual who you go to for guidance and accountability? How do you hook up with a sponsor?

Typically you would get a sponsor if you joined a 12 step group. They guide you through the steps.
