im not here to argue if you have an addiction or not.  you are going to have to admit that to yourself.

but regardless of this, what is the halacha of someone who has 2 paths to go down one is perfectly clean for a yiddishe neshama to go down. and one is fulls of pritzus etc etc. what is the halacha if he goes down the pritzus road and keeps controll of his eyes? hes still considered a rasha? so if you decide to go down the internet road, even if you only watch normal movies (it sounds like your opinion is that normal movies are ok and its only the movies that lead you to p***) chazal tells us it doesnt matter. you must make sure you go down the clean path by putting up gederim (filters)

also, although im still in the course of taking control of this addiction, i dont have yeridas and aliyas, i always have aliyas even when i fall, cus each fall is an oppurtunity to see where i lost myself etc etc. the only time a person has a yeridah is if he makes it a yeridah.

when you are home, if your wife home? are your kids home? how about helping them with schoolwork, or playing with them. etc etc etc. that is what i would call really relaxing, being with the people you love, building your relationships up. i have a friend who at shalos seudos he told me he came straight from lunch to mincha, why, because he had a long lunch. he does not have kids yet, he didnt have guest over, he had a 3 hour lunch just him and his wife. that is called relaxing.
