Small Victory

There is a website which I use for business which has a photo of a pretty, smiling blonde on the home page. It is not really triggering, more annoying because it does grab my sexual attention. I just discovered that I can skip the home page and bookmark the 2nd page and avoid the problem.
One small victory. Thank you, Hashem.

Like R' Meir (Chagiga 15b) - He ate the inside and threw away the 'klipah'.

Say a prayer for your children (even if they are not yet born). Today is the day to say the prayer which was NOT written by the Shelah Hakodesh, because the Shelah says to say it today.
The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

I would recommend that you start your own post and tell us about yourself in the "introduce yourself" section.

Welcome, friend!
Glad to have aboard another fellow with an understanding of our struggles.
Go ahead, and tell us more about yourself (while protecting your privacy, of course) in the Introduce Yourself section, as suggested above.
Should it happen that after posting you find a typo, there is a "Modify" button underneath your posts that lets you edit what you wrote post-posting.
I'm not sure if you got 6 months without chat rooms, or six months in the chat rooms, but either way we'll be happy to help you truck with us.
Mottel.
Baby steps.
If the road is pulling you down, it's a sign that you are going uphill, so just press harder on the gas!

Have a great day - unless, of course, you made other plans.

Here is something great from today's email. Guess who wrote it.

HELLO ALL HEILIGEHS AND HEILIGOS,

TODAY IS SEVEN MONTHS THAT I AM OFF THE CYCLE OF:
SHTUSS/SHMUTZ/CRY/DAVEN, SHTUSS/SHMUTZ/CRY/DAVEN
SHTUSS/SHMUTZ/CRY/DAVEN, SHTUSS/SHMUTZ/CRY/DAVEN
SHTUSS/SHMUTZ...

OK, WITHOUT ANY FANFARE AND ONE SHOT OF WOODFORD, HERE GOES:
I LEARNED 4 POWERFUL LESSONS DURING THESE HOLY 7 MONTHS.
1. SLIPPING IS NORMAL, BUT STAYING DOWN AFTER YOU SLIPPED? NEVER! GET OFF THE FLOOR, WIPE YOUSELF OFF... KEEP ON MOVING, KEEP ON TRUCKING!

2. I LEARNED THAT JOHN OR HARRY'S WIFE HAS "NOTHING' TO DO WITH ME.
END OF STORY...
NOTHING!
I DON"T CARE IF SHE IS...
OR WHAT SHE IS...
OR WHY SHE IS - OR ISN'T..
.
I WILL NOT SOLVE THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS
NOR THE HEALTHCARE DEBATE.
AND I WILL NOT SOLVE THE TZNIUS ISSUE EITHER.
SHE MAY BE A PROBLEM, BUT SHE'S NOT "MY" PROBLEM
IF IT AINT YOUR RING-TONE, DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE!!
YES, TIGHT CLOTHES AND TALL BOOTS ETC WILL STILL TRIGGER ME,
BUT I DONT GO TO THE BANK OR THE MALL TO FIND THOSE TRIGGERS ANYMORE.
WE MAY HAVE CAUGHT A FIRST LOOK, BUT WE CAN CHOOSE NOT TO LOOK A SECOND TIME.
THE LUST IS STILL THERE, BUT I LOVE MYSELF AND I LOVE HASHEM AND I LOVE MY WIFE AND MY KIDS MUCH MUCH MORE THAN MY LUST.

3.
THE 3RD THING I LEARNED IS JUST HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO HASHEM.HASHEM SEES US IN ALL OUR SITUATIONS, AND HE ACCEPTS ALL OUR MISTAKES AND LOVES US JUST THE SAME.THE SADDEST THING IS, THAT WE NEEDED TO FALL FIRST IN ORDER TO BE PICKED UP AND FEEL THAT LOVE!

4. AND THE LAST THING I LEARNED IS THAT THIS FORUM IS ALL ABOUT AHAVAS YISROEL!!WOW, WHAT A KOACH!!

Mazel Tov to you, paisano!

Re your post:

Love it, love it, love it!

Meron is more holy now than it was before Shabbos because a GYE bochur came here and was subject to nisyonos in shmiras einayim, and by extension in shmiras habris, and passed them with flying colors.
You know who you are. Thank you.

You're very welcome.
Meron has been a holier place for quite some time now but every bit of Kedusha means something.
Ah, the green green mountains, the blue blue sky [btw, why in the world do people write "skies"] on the way back from davening vasikin, Shabbos Koidesh, Eretz HaKedoisha, Am Kadosh!!! Meshalshin Lecha Kedusha!
