IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR FIRSTBORNS

If you find yourself listening to a siyum on Maseches Avoda Zora (Talmud Bavli), about sticking knives into the ground, as soon as you hear the end of the Gemora, walk away before you hear the Rashi. The last Rashi is very triggering.

And have a great Pesach!

My daughter just vomited all over my bed and the floor and I had to clean it up. We all have such disgusting partially digested food inside our bodies even the beautiful women in the street. The outside is exciting but inside is still disgusting. Chazal want us to use this as a way to curb our taavos.

BB is the only gadol I know who makes a vort from vomit.
much love,
yoel

I think Pirkei Avos also mentions vomit, at least once. Also the Rabeinu Yona somewhere near the beginning of Shaarei Teshuva.

So, BB, you're in good company.

Eye: Only you would remember such things:

And Shlomo HaMelech Alav HaShalom said - "Like a dog returning to his vomit so is a person repeating his folly"
--Shaarei Teshuva XIII
And from P.A
"Rabbi Shimon said, three people who ate at the same table and did not speak words of Torah are as if they had eaten from sacrifices to dead [idols], as the verse states 'For all [such] tables are full of vomit and filth without room' (Isaiah 28:8)".

Yep, shoulda remembered that one. Get to re-read it soon enough. Thanks
