Mazal Tov!

Keep up the good work!

May you have much continued Hatzlacha!
I am not big enough to not do something I WANT to do because I know it is wrong, but I've been around long enough not to want to do many things, even though they are really enticing at the first glance.

Mazal Tov Blind Beggar.  Continued Hatzlacha.

P.S.  The key to making it to tomorrow sober, to 180 days and beyond is to not think that you are "cured" from your addiction now that you have 90 days.  As your prior experience tells you, the "cure" is staying close to a place like GYE,  staying in contact with others, reading the chizzuk emails and recognizing that you cannot do it alone.

Blind Beggar got on Hashem's wall,
Blind Beggar had a great fall,
The K9 filter refused to work,
And the Google image searches went from bad to worse.

All GYE's emails and all that they said,
Couldn't put seichel in Blind Beggar's head,
He has to do teshuva to rectify his crime,
And climb up again, one day at a time.

Don't think I am not taking this seriously. I was shocked and disappointed and depressed already. The poem is the next step.
The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

Sorry to hear about the fall, but know that the fall can never take away those sober days.  Those are yours forever.
Change can however take away the fall.
And that is what's key I believe.  It's not the K9 filters fault for refusing to work.
The filter is just a reminder as to where we are supposed to be.
We got to change ourselves.
So now that you've dusted yourself off from the fall, ask yourself how is this time going to be different.
The answer can't simply be getting a stronger filter.
If you take that question seriously, in no time you'll be back climbing higher then you've ever climbed before.
Much hatzlacha.

Hi Blind Beggar,

I'm new here and i want you to know I identify very much with what happened to you. I had my first 90 days when last elul came around and it lasted until Tevet. 120 days! After that, I fell hard and now I'm struggling to get back up. I would like to wish both of us Hatzlacha!

Help needed to get K9 to work.
I just got a new second hand computer and everything works except K9. I get "K9 cannot connect" and "K9 is not responding". I have tried everything on their support page and I have contacted them. Does anyone have an out-of-the-box experience or idea that worked or might work?
I am toast without it!
