I don't want that trash ever again.
I don't want that trash ever again.
I don't want that trash ever again.
I don't want that trash ever again.
I don't want that trash ever again.
I don't want that trash ever again.

The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

Me neither. But we will always be free no matter what anyone says about nekudas habechirah, to plunge into the trash again and run far from Hashem as we can....which is of course not very far, thankfully.

But it certainly is a very long, lonely way down till I realized:

אָנָה, אֵלֵךְ מֵרוּחֶךָ;    וְאָנָה, מִפָּנֶיךָ אֶבְרָח. 7 Whither shall I go from Thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from Your face?

Hatzlocha, its just another day, isn't it....

This is the first post of 5772!
I joined GYE in Elul 5770. I was clean for two weeks and I fell in the Beis Medrash on Shabbos Shuva while I was learning Zohar! This year I was sitting in the same seat learning Zohar with over 6 months clean from zera levatola. This is because of SA and TaPhSiC and a few other things all of which come from joining GYE.
I davenned for everyone who is or was connected with GYE on Rosh Hashono.

Wishing everyone a Gemar Chasima Tova.

Here is the second post of 5772. Who is going to post the 3rd?

I just got this email for 70 days without reading or viewing porn:
Hi Blind Beggar,
Congratulations on reaching level 6!
70 days is no small feat! On Sukkos in the Beis Hamikdash we brought 70sacrifices. You just brought your own 70 sacrifices!
It says in Chazal that a woman gives 70 cries before she gives birth. These70 days are like 70 cries that you just gave, to give birth to a NEW YOU!
In just 20 days you'll hit 90 and go on to the "Wall of Hashem'sHonor" chart. I'm looking forward to making a big Le'Chayim on thatday, and announcing a special Mazal Tov to you on the forum!Keep up your amazing work. You are giving Hashem agreat Nachas Ruach

You can get one too if you go 70 days.
Hatzlocho!

OK, so I sponsor a kiddush every year on my anniversary in the shul I daven in and say it is for gratitude to Hashem, but do not explain for what. My wife and the one or two other recovering sex and lust addicts in the shul are the only other ones who know, besides my Best Eternal Friend, G-d.

Make a real kiddush in your yeshivah or shul. Spend some cash on a simple weekly kiddush for three months, six months, a year, two years, three years - whatever it may be. Let it remain a secret between you and whoever, but make it real, I say.

Just a suggestion.

Continued hatzlocha!

Thank you, Dov.
For me posting on the Forum makes it real. Keep on making your annual kiddushes. We should all be at your next kiddush in the Beis Hamikdosh.
