Is a bird, that falls in the river, kosher or not? If it swimms against the current, than it is kosher, otherwise not . So the analogy to a human: a person, that swimms against the current of time is kosher too. Noah was wise to build a boat. Hey Moshe, tell the rivers and sees to open up, because we journey forth!

When the sea/see splits it is easy to go forth in purity. We strive to be like Nachshon. We follow Hashem's order and enter even [what seems to us to be] raging seas. Once we undertake to do Hashem's bidding, the rest is up to him! He may choose to split it, thereby removing the obstacle in its entirety, or He may choose to give His help to overcome the current and swim against the tide.

The main thing is: We need to have onboard. We must have Him on our team!
