I'm new to the forum.
I'm happy to be part of GYE and be in contact anonymously with the best Yidden in Klal Yisroel (i think there is nothing better then growing and wanting to be better and reach higher in the area of Kedusha)!
I've been struggling for nearly 15 years mostly alone which was terrible!
BH I opened up a couple of years ago to a mentor/Rav and im doing better!
It's great to read posts from other really special Yiddens struggles and triumphs!
We are all literally in war on the very front lines! We need everyone of You amazing people to accomplish total victory BeH!

Wow! That's superb that you were able to open up to someone to know personally. Just curious, did that mentor/Rav bit your nose off, or was he encouraging/understanding?

The Rav i spoke to was very encouraging and understanding BH!
He helped me to try focus on going upwards in general and that each week/month i work on getting a drop better! Rather than to look at my falls, I started looking at the positive, how I was improving a drop at a time and reducing slowly the negative behaviour! Till I could see decent changes over a bit of time!

I’m new, too! I’ve been struggling for over 10 years already and a therapist recommended me to gye. I’m really impressed with the site and all the communication that goes on! 
I’m trying to figure out my way around the site, make new connection, open up about my own struggles, and hear other people’s stories. Looking forward!
