I'm the person Isaac mentioned a few days ago. As he said, I speak French and indeed attended an international French speaking meeting in Lille two weeks ago which was really inspiring.
From my understanding there aren't that many groups in France but I can put you in touch with local fellows. Obviously I'm also available to talk... in French (FYI I'm not a sponsor, just a fellow).
