Simple approach is good but I need to appreciate the error I made as well. I relinquish the fight to him true but I must as well express my sorrow of the error I made and continue with a renewed and refreshing determination to connect to him and fix the holes in my program.

I love the mentioning of thankfulness and gratitude. How true. Any success in the service of Hashem needs ultimately to be out of happiness and love. B'ezras Hashem I will bounce back, and I will do so with hakaros katov which brings great ahavas Hashem. Surely one day at a time, but also one step at a time.
