Can someone please explain to me what is the "KARMA" number at the side of each post on the forum, below each user's name (under the number of posts)????

I guess it could be explained by the two options "applaud" and "smite".

Basically, if someone is enjoying your posts, then they'll "applaud" you, and the opposite.

But, it doesn't make any real difference.
