I found Gye when i was on google plus, i stumbled over someone who wanted to help me and sent me here. So i want to know if i should make a community on google plus for teens that lost their way, the same way i did, and if i should make it would Gye direct teens to the community.

Directing anyone with lust issues here sounds like a good idea.

My concern with creating a google+ group for wayward teens would be the hefker nature of the internet. This forum is monitored and moderated by responsible, sober adults who have the best interests of the kehilla in mind. People do occasionally post harmful philosophies here, but they are openly challenged. If they persist, they are censored or banned. Girls posing as boys have posted on this side as well, but Guard and his crew can usually ferret them out and move them to the right side of the mechitza. An unmoderated internet group, in addition to providing well-meaning but potentially harmful advice, can also be a breeding ground for predators.

If you decide to do it anyway, it should at least
1. be separated by gender*, and
2. have an adult moderator who is experienced in counseling teens.

*But again, you never know who or what you're really dealing with.

Just my opinion.

But on the flip side, teens may be more open to other teens who suffer the same problem and can relate more.

Sending people (those who need it) to GYE is advisable.

I also have strong reservations about using google+ for that purpose.

There are many teens here being open with other teens with the same issues. Pull up a chair and join the conversation!

100%. There are plenty of teens here (me, innastruggle, chachaman, some_guy to name a few). Feel free to Private Message any of us- we're all open to talk! And also, tell us a bit about yourself- what's your story, what do you struggle with, etc. I've found the forum to be the best tool on GYE. The chizuk and advice you can get on here are incredible.

In my opinion publicising GYE on anything goyishe is asking for anti-semitic trolls. I don't think it would be that long before we were overrun.

I do think it should be advertised in chareidi papers like Hamodia etc. Could we ask Rabbi Twerski to mention it in his column one week?
