I renewed my taphsic style tnai (I wrote it out) until shabbos.
I soooo wanted to watch family guy and american dad and scandal today, but hey, it's being offered on an altar to God. the weekend went well and I hope to do some real living this week
I'm also almost finishes the Two Towers (book 2 of lord of the Rings)
Fartugs has been going well,
the trick is to preempt the YH as much as possible
Lord save me and all the Jews

sometimes i think about how much I enjoy watching those programs and that next week I definately won't renew the thingy,
but If you look at what is to be gained v.s. what is to be lost I think I will be compelled to renew it.

i think this is the feeling athletes have when they go into heavy training and cannot afford to goof off.

Praised be the lord,
with his super special siyata dishmaya, I was able to get up @ 5:30 for my fartugs learning (I was totaly stoned out of my mind and had to take a nap in the veibe shul afterwards lol) even though I had been up till 12:30 doing mishloach manos, and then until 1:15 working on Lord of the rings.

If anybody has read Lord of the rings, I think you may see a few strong lessons to Addicts, one is the way that Gollum was totaly taken over by the ring (and the way Gandalf protects himself - he doesn't even want to touch it, he is aware of the nisayon), the other part which I read last night is when Pippen feels compelled to steal the palantir from Gandalf...

anyhoo this whole fartugs thing is a real blessing from hashem (i have had very minimal success waking up early since my wedding (5+ years ago)
it makes you feel like you can fight, and you don't have to give in (besides for the extra siyata dishmaya you get)

I havent looked into tge Garden of Peace since sunday, but the Shalom Bayit picture is still doing better over the last little stretch. Thank you Hashem.

Today I'm fasting and am feeling a bit shvach, but its only 1 hour and 13 minutes till I need to log off and I will be hopefully safe until tomorrow morning and Friday is a short day...
BTW today is day number 8 of the super clean count.
