Just checking in, really. I'm in one of those long dry spells, too. I love reading your posts. You are real, and somebody I always learn from. I haven't had the high for ages. Never mind. You remind me--na'aseh v'nishma. left foot right foot. KOT

I just want to take this opportunity to wish the entire Oilam a Ksiva Vachasima Tova. I will not name names for I will surely leave out someone important. But each of you, in your own way, has helped me to have an amazing year, that I never thought would be possible. Without your fellowship and support I would be hopelessly lost and who know how desperate I would have been and how low i might have gone. You have no idea how much it means to me to have a group of people who know of my struggles yet accept me as person and as a Frum Yid who is trying to try his best.

May we all be Zoche to a new year in which Hashem grants us the awareness each day to submit ourselves to His will, to accept the task He has given us and take the actions to fulfill our mission.

Hashem is talking to the snake AKA the Yetzer HoRa. He tells him, if "he", i.e the person, wins, he will cause pain in the "head", in the beginning, but the end will be sweet. But if you, the YH, win, the beginning may be pleasure but the "heel", the end, will be pain.
