I personally find that when i'm feeling a bit down, or spacing out in shir, i enjoy writing my thoughts through a poem. It's very therapeutic.

So this is what poem i came up with today in shir deep short and sweet.

Dear holy brothers,
'Days are coming' just keep cimbing
Dont throw in the towel yet, just STOP sighing
Lets pull together like warriors at war
have this in mind and you'll get through for sure.

Lets here your poems and thought provoking one liners...

when the going gets tough the tough get going

'We were not put on this world to chill and relax
or to laze around shtelling our hacks'

The sole reason we were put onto this world is to overcome our negative traits - steipler

Just the opposite brother. You would not have a problem if you knew the might and power of hashem, you would have enough yiras shomayim to controll yourself. If you succumb to your desire then avada daven to hashem but you should never have really run into that initial problem.

As I await inspiration, all I get is dissipation.

As my hopes, beliefs and desires dissipate, higher ideals, convictions and resolutions fill the space they vacate.

Then awareness does strike, this is what it's supposed to be like.

A full vessel can contain no more, not so, one empty to the core.

Thus, I begin to see, dissipation and emptiness are the only key,for great inspiration to flow upon me.

Admit powerlessness and surrender, heal your ruptured heart so tender.

Set your will aside and let His be binding, behold the road to recovery bright and shining.

As you rejoice - with your fellow share the word, ensure you don't fall back into the absurd.

At first I thought it is incumbent upon me,to remember a chapter in ancient history.

Then I came to the realization, that I am part of that very nation,if not for Hashem’s salvation, would be doomed to eternal slavedom.

Then it hit me, that this just cannot be,that this true reality, should be bound to physicality.

Of my soul precious than gold, it has been told,into slavery it has been sold, in the body so bold.

At first I defined, that by leaving this bind,his mercy so kind, myself I shall find.

The truth – speaker states, that leaving the straits, is by letting myself dissipate, and into Him to integrate.

It may get rough, because it is tough, yet every trial is a trail of detour. While it is a test of life our detours, yet on them we may find the providence of our Maker to find the things to leave our wilderness, and find a way to maintain paradise. Life is an if, so I will choose life, only G-d, bless the Eternal has the universe inside!
