we need all the simcha possible in Elul.

Question: what halacha does 'bardichev' and 'battleworn' and 7up etc have? In other words, is there an issur of lashon Hara? can one be over on being insulting in public?  Do we have to ask mechila?
Or do the avatars all get together for the high holy days and take care of themselves?

I've been thinking this one for a while, and think that there is no lashon hara, but there is on'as devarim.

What do you think?
