one goes by the name yosef yaakov the other noorah

hkb"h knows who you are and how hard you are fighting
may you see bracha and hatzlacha in every facet of your lives

There are so many lessons we need to learn from this week’s parsha

Really we need a shiur iyun on it

Lets take a few practical lesson

  Bo-el aramis kanaim pogiin bo!!

this is a unique halacha the strict laws of the torah dictates that to follow the letter of the law
a "kan-nai" loosely translated a zealot has to revenge this transgression.

Pinchas was azealot therefore he was the one person who rightfully was able to kill Zimri

Here is the bombshell the torah calls Pinchas  aman of peace!!



A zealot? you ask, does that not conjure a image which is opposite of the man of peace?
That was blessed with the covenant of peace? That will ultimately bring the geulah the real peace?

The answer is PEACE is not only the end of war. It is when the world reaches a state of harmony when all the pieces of the puzzle come together ,when the symphony plays in unison.
That is peace peace is not hairy hippies singing kumbaya(whatever that means)

Peace is Totality = SHLEIMUUS  same as SHALOM whole totality is peace

Zimri in his blatant act of sin threw the Jewish nation into limbo the only way to regain balance was to KILL HIM!!!

(path of peace) IS TO “ MAKE PEACE”
That he says is called complancency and I call it rolling over and playing “DEAD”

Another thought about peace in this sedra.

The land was divided by a goyrul (drawing lots). Rashi says that the lots actually spoke and said who it belonged to. Apparently, Hashem didn't have Moshe or Yehoshua just tell people what Hashem wanted because it would lead to Machlokes.

Thousands of years later, money is still the greatest cause of Machlokes :'(

Hashem should give all Emunah Shlaimo that nobody can take anything away from us that is rightfully ours and that we should not have a desire look at anybody elses fortune because if they have it, it was meant for them and not us.

The Slonimer Rebbes interpret the possuk as follows;
The biggest mussar we can receive is the Ribono s' Olam saying to us "you are my son , a ben melech,  "al timus" s' past nisht for a child of Hashem a prince,  certain lowly behaviors.

Rabbi Twersky in one of his early books writes that he once when he was a small boy he played chess on Rosh Hashana! When his father "found out",  His father.
