i think it's worthwhile to notices very carefully all the praises of klal yisroel this week. you see someone going through the torah until now could this," these yidden, they just can't seem to get it right, they complain all the time, they want to go back to mitzraim, have a look at parshas beshalach, and bahaloischa onwards, time after time they mess up.(we know that they were the greatest generation that there was from chazal)- but from reading just the torah, it would seem that the yidden were chsvshl"m a bunch of no good niks. comes along the torah in this weeks parshah and says oh no, let me give you the inside story. and said by who? our greatest enemy, because when your enemy says your praise, you can be sure he isn't there to exaggerate. enjoy

yes very good . Let me add that just like kosher birds . Since most of birds are kosher the tora enumerates those birds that are not kosher which are the few. the same with Am Yisrael . Since those were the only sins that Am Yisrael did the torah writes them all because those were the only ones . and most of the time they were Tzadikim. i think this idea is from the Kuzari.

i am not such an old timer , i came to gye less than a month ago. and was part
of the forums much less. the material is overwhelming but i try to read it bit by bit . last night i came to this parsha insight . I once read a forum in hebrew . I was so disgusted by what he wrote he did . that i said to myself why on earth i should read things that i did not know existed . with time i enrolled inthe english forums . and somehow i feel that they do help . being part of gye definitely helps . my problem is serious because i am not addicted to porn . since adolescence that i learned to masturbate , i was not addicted that i have to do it every day but it was here to stay . i did go back to it every once in a while for my entire life . so i know that I AM addicted. I have urges for lust , all the time so i am very addicted to lust and to looking at women. For now i am not looking at women already 25 days. recurring thoughts of lust are part of my daily struggle. So my fear is that the yetzer hara has much more patience than me and sometimes he lets me live my life pretty normal . But ... one day he attacks with force ( always when , depressed , angry, sad etc ). i am afraid for that day . Nevertheless the fact that i am forcing myself to live without looking definitely helps a lot. Torah learning is great but the yetzer hara attacked even when in the middle of great learning . So for me Torah helps a lot but it is not THE solution to the problem. Releasing to G-d is . The 12 steps are the solution . Release all your feelings to Him , let Him Run His world as He wishes. That i think is our only salvation and based on that you can build all else.

The last sin recorded in Bamidbar is the sin of Pritzut ,women of midyan.
Meaning : before the end at the entrance of the holy land this will be the nisayon.

And just like Pinchos the only way of getting through this nisayon is by being heroic and having put our lives and selves to a side just for the sake of G.od. And most important , the שכר is given to Pinchos in the next Parsha. Meaning , do it for the sake of doing whats right even if you dont get or dont see any retribution.
Moreover . we see Kalev spoke good about the holy land as opposed to the other spies who committed one of the worst sins of am Yisrael. And what did he get for that ?? He got the city of Hebron , which is very nice alright . What did Pinchas get ?? He got an instant UPGRADE of his person , his Yichus and all his being for all the generations to come whether we live in the holy land or not.
This my friends is what we will get by being heroic and by killing all the Zimris from our own selves. Our beings are upgraded , INSTANTLY and our children and children's children. Just like Pinchus.
