i have k9 on my comp, but the addiction is to strong, i spend hours trying to get around it and i always succeed in finding a loophole. i need a better filter, something that blockes images and prevents downloading porn . . . i need a filter to prevemnt that also.please people help me, what is the best most powerful filter regardless of cost???????

Seriously, a filter will not work if you don't want it to. If the addiction is so strong that you spend hours trying to get around your filter, could it be that you aren't working the steps at all? Just a question...

And remember that, while a strong filter is essential, it is not the complete solution. You need to be working on yourself, using the various tools available on GYE.

Have the reports sent to someone you'd be ashamed to disappoint. You also might want to try a whitelist filter, filtered at the level of the server, like koshernet or jnet... You might also what to try the TaPHSiC method.

ss7107	BSECURE is a great filter as well including accountability software, whitelist capability and very high filter settings. But like the others have said, if you want it bad enough, you will get it. That has always been true for me.

dont worry
now you are feeling this, but when u fill in alot of the other mental tools that u can gain by posting and drinking marinda around here, you'll need your filter as a reminder, but not as a lock
you'll grow and feel better soon, so just realize that this focus on the filter is only a now thing....its the focus on you next.
the gye handbook mentions this, eyin sham [page 38

its just imp to know that once your'e zoche to build better habbits and find a rythm, you'll breath easier and recover easier

What I'm trying to do is to get the best filters for everyone's computer around the house (I'm a bachur at home), and work as hard as I can on fixing this IN MYSELF! Can some1 help e how to block AOL and Google-plus on K9?
when i try to add it on the black list its still not blocked
