I am the same. When I act out, it's stories/books/movies/voices, and then comes lots of other stuff. (It helps me a ton to detail all the "other stuff" but that's not appropriate for this venue. I generally reserve that davka for face 2 face and at meetings...)
our generation has mastered the external actions.we can do anything without letting it affect our inside.been there,done that.

Hatzlocha Rabba in whatever you do. Hashem is with you. Maybe it's what you need but it seems you are taking action (chesed) rather than sticking with cerebralism (as many of us end up unfortunately doing in yeshiva), as Guard suggested, after all. But there is no geographic solution, you know...
