Mazal Tov to you!!!!!!

I wish I had the experience/resource of GYE when I graduated (24 years ago) and went to E"Y!!!

You litterally should thank Hashem everyday that you have this community available to you at this stage of your life.

I have decided that, while in yeshiva in Jerusalem, I am going to find SA meetings to go to regularly. In the last few weeks, I've seen that this monster has not diminished as a result of my efforts. I am just as vulnerable as ever when feeling lonely and bored. My alienation from people has reached new heights and my desire to act out in ever more extreme ways has continued with it. I NEED to connect with other addicts in person and tell my story and be at meetings. Otherwise, yeshiva or not, I'm going down the drain.

That sounds like a good policy. Once again, I urge you to give yourself a start on sobriety before you go to eretz yisroel - I think that will be helpful to you in a number of ways.
