I would also add, those daily chizzuk E-mails don't have that same personal touch as they used to. I think that makes a big difference. Those chizzuk E-mails would alert EVERYONE of someone's struggles, slips and successes, and would make you want to get involved. There would often be a string of quotes--10 different messages--about where different members were holding.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that happens much anymore. :'(

Guard has had a lot less time than he used to because GYE is changing. But maybe it cannot afford to lose that personal touch you are referring to, chaver!

Guard asked for our help with the chizuk email. I admit I only sent him stuff once. We should make more of an effort. Or make a commite for it.

I'm not sure I understand...

Just yesterday's chizuk e-mail had:
- a "Tip of the Day" from Yosef Hatzadik...
- a "Personal Victory of the Day" from Briut...
- a "Member's Chizuk" from "aa1977"
- and a Daily Dose of the Rebbe Reb Dov.

And the day before had:
- Anecdote of the day from "Kutan"
- Member's Chizuk from "aa1977"
- 12-Step Attitude from "Jooboy"
- and a Daily Dose of the Rebbe.

Isn't that lots of stuff from "the yiddin who make up GYE's forum"?

I think Dov just doesn't get the chizuk e-mails, so he doesn't really know :D

And I think Eye means that I used to bring a whole bunch of quotes from a member when he reached 90 days... Indeed, lately I haven't been on the forum as much and so I don't notice when a member reaches 90 days always. But if the chevra here send me a PM when someone deserves a Mazal Tov, I can try and bring a bunch of quotes from him... And it would help if the oilam could send me some of their best quotes as well...

I'm curious what you mean. I don't recall doing this. Perhaps you can find an example in the old chizuk e-mails and show me? I honestly would love to be accomidating, and if there's a certain style of e-mails that the oilam likes, I can try and get Eye to do it for us
