I went 90 days cleaner than clean

No falls no slips no wayward eyes nothing

I would smudge my glasses in the bank or in the store etc

I would think to myself what's gonna happen when I finally see something

I realized I am scared of being clean

And that being clean means that I am just before a fall

I know it sound warped

So first of all

Every clean day is tremendous

You are pushing back years and years of a certain pattern of activity

Second of all a "yid" needs to realize "ilmalay HKB"H ozro lo yachal loi" you need to recognize that. U are fighting only with siyatta dishmaya

Oib azoi what do I do when I don't feel the urge to fight? (Which is lag vokelleses kasha) that is atzas ha-yetzer

Remeber if sobriety felt so good why did we ever get addicted? Ella mai,taava feels great yes I said feels. We need to learn to do what's good and right and not what "feels".

Let's go back.being clean is NOT being before a fall (laag vokelles if u are reading this thread being dirty does NOT mean u are just before being clean)

So how do we handle being clean? By minimizing the task

Meaning if one were to say I will never... Etc. Yes he may be setting himself up for failure

But if you bring it down to bite size pieces "one day at a time" just today etc.. You will be matzliach

I have mosre to say on this topic. But this is a good start
