The mind
Most awesome creation
gift from God
allowing us to be
(in a certain sense)
Like Him
To choose in free-will
Creating our own
Inner reality

“If you can learn from hard knocks,
You can also learn from soft touches“ (Carolyn Kenmore)

A neglected mode of communication
In our generation
Where either extreme is found
Either hard knocks
Or neglectful/cold abandonment
But the loving soft touch
Is a forgotten art
Both in its receipt
& the giving of it

It begins from a soft heart
A non-judgmental engaged mind
Open & receptive
To both giving & receiving
The gentle caring
Of one soul towards another

Life often
Feels like it’s going in circles
Leading no where
While in reality
It’s like a spiral staircase
In circular motion
Guided upward
Growing taller & higher
A healthy progression
Towards actualizing
Ones mission in life

The most powerful scream
Is the very silent one
Spring forth from
The depth of the heart
Filling one’s body & soul
With the eternal yearning
For the divine

Your neighbor is your other self dwelling behind a wall.In understanding, all walls fall down.Who knows but that your neighbor is your better self wearing another body?See that you love him as you would your self.He too is a manifestation of the Most High (K. Gibran)

Monday
A day to unify
To bridge the dividing gap
Bringing goodness into the revealed
Realms of existence

The division of Heaven & Earth
Hell & Discord are all there
For Unity born from division
Light from Darkness
Giving forth potential
To a heavenly earth

What is now separate
Is to be unified
When Heaven & Earth are One
When Male & Female are One
When though distinct & unique
The separating is no longer

Thus Monday is to see the hidden light
Point of unity within conflicting views
When great men among us unite
Despite our different ways of approaching God
For everything leads
To the same place

We must not,in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to the big difference that we often cannot forsee (Marian Wright Edelman)

“Pitted” Dates
Can still break teeth
For some of the pits
Were not removed
Still needs to be eaten with caution

Same goes with our pits
Don’t assume that were all removed

PaTOOey! (ding!!)
"Off the 18-wheeler and fine on this tricycle!", "I do not particularly care exactly which "lav" suicide is. I'm not interested in it for other reasons...and you are probably the same."

Green leaves
Beautiful trees
Wind blowing
Though as if
Waving to me
With a bright loving smile

Truth
Is compassionate
One ought to strive
To live a truthful life
That is kind

So that truth & kindness
Are not diametrically opposed
To one another

I regret
Unkind truths
Untrue kindness
Please grant me the wisdom
To be truthfully kind
& compassionately truthful

Internal Workings of
The Mikvah
To be as the world once was
Completely water
No human life possible
Or as a pre-birth baby
Enveloped within its mother
So that when one arises from the water
He (or she) is created anew
A new pure world before him
As well as a profound change
Within him
Giving him a new fresh ability
To begin again

Thus the Mikvah
Is not something external
To the person immersed in it
For the purification needs to be
Within the heart
A renewal & the hope
A new beautiful day
In a new beautiful world
