If this happens often, think of something you can do when it happens next.

Maybe wake up, get yourself to the bathroom, wash negel-vasser, pick up a light sefer or some light reading for five or ten minutes, or listen to some headphones a bit, then try to get yourself back to sleep, or go off to an early shacharis--anyways you can't get back to sleep, so you might as well get up.

Don't stay in bed if you're just going to act out there.

StrugglingGuy	Thanks eye. I do have a radio next to my bed for that purpose, but again fail to use it when my mood gets too strongly affected. Well I could go back to sleep, what do you mean? Ur right, I need to have a plan though.

StrugglingGuy	wait- i thought u said we should admit powerlessness. so i am not going to pretend anymore that i am strong enuf to beat this. if i find myself in a room with these books i am not strong enuf to reisit. bottom line. only way i can change is to depend on and ask God to remove the stimbling blocks from in front of me. Doesnt Hashem have to obey the torah also?
