It's still painful, but maybe this truth can make it slightly less so.

It's still painful, but maybe this truth can make it slightly less so.

So in other words, this is it. Try your best, this is the way it supposed to be? Just clarifying that I understand your premise.

Oddly enough, the thought I wont live forever always cheered my up when I thought of that.
Lets jsut get rid of it before we hit the next world where things last and dont change

Besides that, I think it does get better. Youve already hit points you thought were impossible. 
It does die down, it does get better, it does become less a presence.
And anyway,  it probably goes away as we age. Unless you feed it, then we become embarrassing pervy old men with no filters.
Or have i hit that already?
