I have some social anxiety, and I get lonley.

My advice is to meet one friend for a chat.
So that way he can actually listen to you, and hear you, and you interract with each other.

Then work up to meeting two friends, but start with one.

Go to their houses, or a quiet cafe.

Avoid large social gatherings which are loud.
where people do not really listen to others much, but instead talk loudly and try to act important.
