Computer isn't necessarily my main issue. I need to work on who I am, so that I can move forward in life.

IT - real live friends? What's that? ??? ???

Had the yetzer hora approach me today, in the form of an email from an old friend that's feeling sad...deleted the email. no matter how short my response would be, I can't be involved.

Have another issue I need to deal with, and I'm working on it...I let myself slip a bit on this one (for me), but I will deal with it.

i have no choice, if i want to survive.

Keep working on yourself.  Maybe slow down some on your own battle.  What I mean is just take a deep breath and relax.  I had a yucky day once I started working on myself today.  Take it slow and remember we are human and we all make mistakes.

silentbattle- although i always hear and read that when dealing with the Y"H, its best to leave him out in the cold and not even acknowledge him, your example with the email is the first personal experience i've seen. its such a simple act but such a monumental achievement. it might just be that it comes with time, but it seems like you've mastered it already along your path.

Thanks, Shlomo - but I wish that were true...I really wanted to respond, even in an innocent, comforting way. I just knew I couldn't.

It's a lot harder to leave the yetzer hora in the cold when he has a human face, is pretty, and crying, and in real pain.

In other news, Hashem is helping me out, and I'm moving forward...Trying not to get stressed about life in general, and working on my new avatar.

Mastered? Hashem is the only Master I am aware of. Do you know of any others?

How you doing today?  I was thinking about something you wrote a couple of days ago.  When the email came you just deleted it.  I think that was very smart but also a way for you to see how far you have come in your own journey as a person.  Keep on trucking!!!

Hmmm...it's a cool picture, but you can't really see much at the avatar size, can you? Trenchcoat, shotgun, tefillin = spiritual bodyguard!

Should I keep this?

Hey SB,

Just wanna wish my friend a gevaldige Shabbos.

You've come a long way, baby. Just skim thru your own thread. Very impressive.

May HKB"H help you to find your path out of this maze. BTW, DC is starting up most likely in the 3rd week of Feb, or so.

Are U thinking of joining?

Alzo, the 1pm est call this sunday with Rabbi/Dr. Fish sounds really good. I'm gonna try to make it. How 'bout breaking the silence and joining in?

Good Shabbos!!

Dunno...I don't know if I can commit to doing that regularly, although DC's calls do sound interesting. I also don't look forward to the idea of hiding an SA white book...I've done enough hiding.

On the other hand, might be a good idea...share your thoughts?

What time are Dr. Fish's calls?
