Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for someone where the time zone difference will not be an issue, and would also prefer a less virtual connection in terms of accountability so it is stronger. Chatting about my problem is not effective for me.

No takers. How pathetic. No wonder such a small percentage of people here and in SA actually recover. You're willing to risk everything to talk to a woman you shouldn't be talking to, but to talk to a fellow who wants to recover is more than you're willing to do to get better. I appreciate what this place is trying to accomplish, but it's a waste of time for me in my own journey.

You're right, I thought my well-intentioned effort to beef up my recovery would find at least one seriously interested person on this web site, which is supposedly dedicated to serious recovery. My mistake. I should be giving chizuk instead.  Great job! Thank you!

From my years of experience on this site I can tell you that people chat in person with others after they develop a relationship. It happens all the time.

You sound very frustrated. That must be the case because you wouldn't come striking out at people you don't really know otherwise.

How old are you?

I don't believe a small percentage of people recover, I believe many eventually do. It may be years and years of pain, but many do. 

Every time I tried "creating" a chavrusa with a stranger for this purpose, it never ever worked out. 

However, after actually getting to know people, which takes time, commitment, and sincerity, I have found here a wonderful group of friends where our relationships were mutually productive for a while.
