"i did have a a&w moment, though...sunday...i was down...thnking im fooling myself for thinkn i can be a clean holy person...i aint holy..thinkin its gonna come a-crashin down soon and its gonna be a-glorious...went to get a bagel...saw the cover of the post (attached) and had a change of heart...tomorrow is 60..."

Rage's Dream

While riding on a train goin' west,
I fell asleep for to take my rest.
I dreamed a dream that made me sad,
Concerning myself and the first few real friends I had.
 
With half-damp eyes I stared to the forum
Where my friends and I spent many an afternoon,

After some e-mail exchanges with RATM about coming back (especially in light of Hashem's message to him today), here's what he wrote:

i'll tell you, bro, sanity, for me, has become a full time job...i am starting to see gds hand more clearly...which is mostly good....im almost expecting the hand to one time just rear back and smack me a good one on the backside of my head... i sure earned it...i really cant believe im almost 2 months clean...do you understand that i have never been more than 2 or 3 days...ever...since i hit puberty....

btw, if i made a mistake, it was joinin in the first place...i dont think it was a mistake because i gained a lot, but thats being selfish...it was a mistake because i would piss off people on a daily basis...i had a freakin disclaimer, man...no, man, the hijack's over...i think a giant sigh of relief reverberated through the forum when i left...a giant exhale...

i really liked the chizuk email today...that guy sure did sound like me..and truth be told, since ive come on this journey, i have asked gd to step in and do a little rambo in nikes on some nasty thoughts... so yeah, i guess you can say that in my own way i do talk to gd outside of prayer...its the only way to get through this, man...gd..who woulda thunk it...
