Well anyway, Kedusha, since you did Teshuvah for your editing past (which was caused by a difficult upbringing where Kedusha's father used to edit his homework every night while he slept), I gave you a new, more friendly look on the forum.

That was my mother!

Thanks for the new avatar, R. Guard.  I think it's time for a change (or at least a break) from the old one!

It's so empowering - to be able to change someone's spelling errors, and to refrain!

Count this as day three for me on the Guard Your Edits 90-day chart!

Now, we need to work on YOUR look, R. Guard.  That guy in your picture looks like he's been dead for 3,000 years!  (That's Keneged your 3,000 posts!).  ;D

I'd like to thank Rage for some of the best laughs I've had in a long time!

This thread is all in your Zechus!

BTW, Rage, I assume you voted in my poll before you left.

rehab-my-site.com/guardureyes/forum/index.php?topic=1147.0

I think we can all guess what you voted (duh!).

The question is, since you left the forum before the poll ended, does your vote count?  I'm not sure whether this is a question for HaRav Eliashiv, Shlita or (Lehavdil) the U.S. Supreme Court!  One thing is certain: if I were to trash your vote, you would have no legal standing to challenge it!

You're right. How's this for a "guard"?

[Kedusha's note: Sorry - I keep doing this - accidentally modifying posts instead of replying to them.  Some would say that I'm trying to sneak in some edits but, at least on a conscious level, it was an accident.  According to the Guard Your Edits "Keyboard of Honor" chart, such mistakes are neither a slip nor a fall].

and then in sem i stuck out like a sore thumb, in every way.
and now at home i stick out again, in the opposite way.

but that doesn't mean i don't have friends who are a bit diff than me.
and we're all your friends (well, not me. because I'm a girl. but i think you get the gist)
it doesn't matter where you came from, or who you are, or whether you wear a black hat or a sroogy or a suede kippa or a shtreimel.
and it doesn't make a diff to anyone that R' B and EL and chassidish and that others are sphardi and yet others are yeshivish, and others are chardal, others are dati, others are who knows what.

ouch. I don't his rageness to come home; he's one of those decisive types. You're either in or out. And we are out Depressing, but I think while I think we may not hear of our of dear rage, who slowly changed over time - I think the effect of what he gave to us and what we gave to him while reverberate in his life - and in wife's life, and his children's lives and ours. Maybe that really scared the ol'boy - sometimes when pinnochio finds himself turning to flesh after he swore he was wood - hail rage! You taught us all so much!

Rage, rage against the dying of the light...

Rage: You guys have faulty memories of me.  It's just an example of, "Acharei Mos, Kedoshim, Emor!"

GYE Forum: Wow - he not only has every good quality, he's humble too!  :D

Between me and you (Rage and 5770): I don't consider myself a Chareidi Jew either.  I'm a Frum Jew.  "Chareidi" is not (for the most part) in my vocabulary.  I'm totally committed to Torah, Halacha, and the Ikrei Emunah, not to externals.

Keep in mind, however, that much of what Chareidim do and don't do (e.g. avoiding television and movies) has a strong Halachic basis.  Whether you wear a white shirt or a blue shirt is an example of what I'm talking about when I speak of "externals."
