RATM -

1. i have a redacted document that you asked for which I need to send to you, so please send me an email/pm and I will get it to you

2. no place for non-haredi jews?  Well then I'd better get out of here then too!!!    i am 30% BT (only the easy 30%)

Between me and you (Rage and 5770): I don't consider myself a Chareidi Jew either.  I'm a Frum Jew.  "Chareidi" is not (for the most part) in my vocabulary.  I'm totally committed to Torah, Halacha, and the Ikrei Emunah, not to externals.

The topic of Torah and Science, which has now been banned on this forum by R. Guard, showed that Rage and I, actually, have a lot in common in our Hashkafa.  Of course, in other areas, we can always agree to disagree.  Mature people do that.

each person has thier special place and thier special place

"never judge a person unless you reach his place"

and you can never reach his place

you never will be in his or her shoes

so you can never judge.

it is said of the Sfas Emes

he became a Rebbe at a very young age

the older chassidim told him,we accept you as Rebbe, but you yourself, being so young, how do you take the responsibility of leading people that are twice and three times your  age?

so he said there was a mountain climber who started at the bottom of the mountain climbing all the the way up.

it took days, weeks, months, years until he reached the highest point he can reach.

when he finally gets there he sees a young child right with him, high up on the mountain

the mountain climber was dumbfounded

"how did you you get here?it took me years and years to reach this point"

the child innocently replies

"I was born here"

No need to exaggerate, 7Up (at least about me).  I was already on the mend (regarding my editing addiction) before Rage chose to leave, and the only posts I was editing were those that . . . well, Rage could fill you in on that.

Rage, at the very least, you owe me an apology for a lousy night's sleep last night, and you know why.

But, we still miss you, and wish you only well!

Smart man, that Guard. T & S is a subject I have an interest in too, but it is a subject that is a real sink hole.
It would quickly derail the forum and....
shudder.

I'm not sure, Kutan.  While we're busy calling each other "apikorsim," and otherwise starting WW III, who would have time to act out?  ;D

My new friends here have added so much to my life. You have changed how I view the world. Unfortunately many of us make judgments about other Jews based on their clothing or other shallow criteria. I know that the peolpe on this site are from all the different 'kinds' of observant Yiddeshkiett. I feel allot of warmth for many people here for all the help they have given me. Since I do not know who you really are when I walk down the street and see someone different than myself  I wonder maybe they are one of the people I care so much about and who have given me so much. These thought have forced me to reassess how I look at the whole idea that there are fractions of Frum Yiddishkeitt.

Yes, I remember that post - beautiful!

And now an important request.  I promised myself - just for TODAY - no edits.  But I noticed a misspelling above.

Can someone volunteer to be my sponsor?  I've got to call someone quick!!

Wait . . . my phone is ringing!

Hello?  Who is this?

You'll be my sponsor?

Thank you so much . . .

now that's a holy Yid.

when the time comes,we all meet,we won't care how we look from what "place" we are from.

because he already know the mind and the heart.

we are doing it the right way here.

we are starting from the inside, not the outside

penimius,not chitzonius,

neshama,not guf

the essence,not the superficial

we are teaching ourselves to look at the good, beyond what is seen

that's real 20/20 vision

Kedusha, what's gotten into you lately? Humor? That's... well... so not the Kedusha we're used to. (Are you sure it's allowed by the rules?)

Hey Kedusha, it's about time! Welcome to the club. You're finally getting the hang of this place!!
;D ;D ;D

P.S. RATM, if you read this... by your self-sacrifice of leaving the forum, you made a ba'al Teshuva!

And, Mazal Tov, R. Guard on hitting 3,000 posts (again - our post counts all went down, thanks to Rage's hasty exit.  Come on folks - fess up - that's the main reason we're so upset!  ;D)

Well anyway, Kedusha, since you did Teshuvah for your editing past (which was caused by a difficult upbringing where Kedusha's father used to edit his homework every night while he slept), I gave you a new, more friendly look on the forum.
