Yes.

DifficultI to do on a public forum, although I do a lot of that. I also write it in emails and on calls.

Regardin' friends, I spoke to a fellow today who sees things from a different perspective than I. He sees the Hand of God in many occurrences of life. I don't. But his perspective helped me today, for I was willin' to simply listen.

One valuable lesson learned today:

ManyI times, we find ourselves sayin', "why should I talk to so-and-so (rebbe, mentor, wife, group member, therapist, sponsor, friend, buddy, teacher)? What are they gonna say anyway? It's not rocket science, you know!" And therefore, we shy away.

Now, there is always the concept of sharin' which helps in a big way, but today I saw that we/i do not know everythin'. There is a lot to be learned and gained from hearin' from someone with a different perspective and different outlook.
