Some people have disclosed details about their addiction (including myself) in an effort to help the other person, and have come to regret it.

Just because someone has the problem doesn't mean they are ready for the solution. They may be in alot of denial.

When i once had a six month streak of sobriety, i was very excited and i wanted to share my newfound solution with everyone i can. I chatted with an old friend of mine and realised that he had patterns of sex addiction. I arranged to meet up with him in a quiet place and told him my story. He didn't really want to know about the solution i had found.

The rejection that i felt hurt so much that it led to a relapse.

I cant tell you what to do because every situation is unique. But i do suggest that you think one hundred before you take such action.

One thing we can allways do is daven for the other person.
