Although I have only been on this forum a short time, and I am only on my fourth clean day- (still 86 to go!), I want to share with everyone: these four days, its sad to say, are a huge accomplishment in my life! Any other time after four days I feel like I'm about to explode with lust! Never mind up to a week. Now, BH, all I did was put one post on the forum, and I feel exactly like "a shared problem is half a problem". There are people out there ready to help me. I am now going to print the big book, join a 12 step phone group- because however much I try to convince myself otherwise, I know that I AM AN ADDICT. And I need help. I am also going to find a sponsor.
Thank you so much everyone at GYE, every person here is changing my life!
And a message to anyone out there who just occasionally reads the forums as a guest (out of guilt after a fall): GET INVOLVED!! Make the first move! And as GYE puts it: "once your here, everyone will just pull you up with them". The smell of freedom is soooo good! "sur m'ra" sometimes feels even better than "asae toiv".
