Hey guys,

Just wanted to know if I was the only that felt this way. For me, I find it MUCH EASIER to guard my eyes when I'm in a public area because (a) I'm more on guard, and (b) I do have a sense of shame and know it's rude to stare at a hot girl (she does notice which is embarassing), and I'm like SH*T, SH*T she caught me looking at her.

But, when you're at home and say bored with work sometimes you may just check out a picture of a hot actress who may be in a bikini or lingerie etc. And since it's not in the flesh, it's obviously not as arousing, and doesn't seem as bad as when you're ogling a real girl. This makes it much easier to slip and then eventually fall.

Anybody else get this?

No i didn't mean if you understood it, i mean if anybody else has this issue as well. Mate i'm not that conceited and patronising.

Yep i am the same, its alot esier to watch myself on the street then on the pc!!!

Interestingly, by me it's punkt farkert. In the street or public places I am automatically exposed to sights which I must avoid (I just stepped out to buy lunch, and I encountered more than one such sight). On the PC I can choose to be careful (be"H) and stay away from places that may be (even remotely) triggering.

Just theorizing here but it may have to do with how the problem started for us. If we began by seeing images (internet, mags, books whatever) then that will be the harder thing to deal with. In my case it started with being attracted to and fantasizing about real-life people. I got addicted to internet p*** later on, but it was easier to give up since it's not burned in quite as deep.

Lol well then I relate to what DL said very much, I even get annoyed when I want to look in real life but I know I cant because of the situation, Need to give up that lust ARGH!!!
