I am not home so much, I might need recovery for that it self. Today when I arrived home my little two year old wanted me to hold him, but I looked at him and he had this dirty shirt full with all kind of stuff, so I was going to ignore him at the moment because I had this nice shirt. He didn't give up so I was thinking to my self, all he wants is some love what I did not get as a child, so what if he will mass up my shirt, and I picked him up. As I was holding him I was thinking to my self "when I ask hashem please pick me up", he looks at me and says " If my son wants me to pick him up I will refuse because of his dirty shirt? All he wants is some love, come here my son".

and yes a father can get his son a new shirt as well.
