i dont know how much these flyers are going to help because whoever doesnt have a filter yet (with everything until now) isnt going to wake up now because of some more ads in the papers until they are presented with a dire need for one

Dear Gevura ShebYesod: The Ichud HaKehillos LeTohar HaMachane indeed deposited at my local shul several copies of a booklet (about 16 pages long). It included an two-page-long article by a rabbi about the Internet and halacha. The article said that it's forbidden to use unfiltered Internet. But showing my parents the article and getting them to install a filter isn't the top thing on my to-do list for now.

OpenDNS, plus the add-on I installed, plus the fear of bypassing the add-on, have been working for me for now. (The fear is that if I bypassed the add-on and looked at inappropriate websites, I'd have to set up more draconian protective measures, and I don't want to have to set up such measures.)
