baruch hashem i am clean today so far.

i need to appreciate that. things weren't always like that and i cannot afford to think that they will always be that way.

i will always need to be on guard. good habits do help. getting used to not looking at women or offensive images is great.

but the monster is not dead. cannot afford to think that.

every time a woman walks by i can feel the tell-tale signs of an urge coming along. an urge to look and squeeze whatever indulgence i can out of the situation. that is the monster. those urges are him taking out his spoon, fork, knife and plate, putting on his bib, loosening his belt and getting ready to gobble me up alive...

don't mean to sound morose. but i did miss breakfast....

and someone pointed out to me that i don't seem to post about nisyonos and struggles lately. thank you for the reality check. it's not an issue of posting about it. it's an issue of not deluding myself. not to think that just because i was out of trouble for a while means that i am free of the problem.
