I'm am just creating a bookmark now to start my journey.  Today is day 0.  I have been up to 413 days before without entering my inner circle behaviors.  I have slipped the past 3 days.  I am taking a deep calm breath and ready  to got back into my recovery one day at a time.  I found this site a couple months ago and I am excited to cross the threshold and be an active member.  Here it starts.

I am now 1 day sober 15 Oct 2010 18:09 #80548

I have not posted since a week ago.  I continued to slip.  I believe last shabbat was the only day I did not act out.  I have not acted out today.  G-d willing I will not act out today.  I am also excited because I have the number for one of the 12 step phone groups.  This is something that has been missing in my life and I am looking forward to it.  I used to go to a group in this city, but I dropped out because it seemed like everyone there was court ordered and there wasn't a lot of mature recovery going on.    I continued to stay sober for a year and change but I always felt like I was missing a connection without a group.

May all of us continue to recover throughout Shabbat, to renew and refresh ourselves for the week to come.  Gut shabbes.

Chaim

Those Calls are GREAT!!!!!

It may be worthwhile to wait until the next round starts, though. Contact the Leader, Duvid Chaim at duvidchaim@gmail.com, he can advise you properly.

Welcome.  Wow 413 of sobriety even without all the tools this site has to offer.  You obviously have a lot to offer us.  Welcome aboard and hatzlacha on the renewed climb.  We are here with you to help you back up.
