serenejaguar93 OFFLINE User	Internet decided to start working again. Then my computer decided to download a virus that I can't get rid of. I haven't had time yet to engage in "operation overkill", which means that I'm still using school computers. How irritating.

Oh, and I was almost killed by a crazy cab driver in the wee hours of the morning a few days ago. And I'm having (almost) zero luck finding a job for next year. Nothing lined up yet. Ever feel like the universe is just out to get you for no damn reason whatsoever? I hate my life.

For me, I thought the post could be abbreviated to:

"Internet started working again. HOW IRRITATING!"

We have become so dependent on the very thing which can kill us. It's scary. Not that I wasn't acting out BEFORE I had internet, but the ease of accessing the shmutz made the addiction much, much worse as time went on.

Bruce, I can imagine how lousy you feel. I haven't really been employed since April of '08. THAT HURTS. Had to fall back on freelance. Hope you find something soon.

Meanwhile, there MUST be some POSITIVE aspects to your life that you can concentrate on. There is STILL a lot of life to love, and I'm sure you have some of that. Maybe go volunteer in a hospital, rehab center or nursing home if you don't believe me. Thats' a surefire way to get one to start counting his BLESSINGS.
