Semester hasn't started yet so I don't know.

And I can't really skip classes, at least the science ones, because they draw heavily from the notes and if you aren't there then you are royally screwed. Except for bio 101. I didn't go to that one then entire second semester.

I'm tired of being a student anyway. Want to get on with my life...which means being a student again later....

I sort of have one but it's off and on for reasons beyond my control. Hopefully, it will become more regular. Take your metamucil.

I played guitar for a year in 7th grade but I quit when I hit 8th grade, partly because I took up basketball and partly because--I think--I didn't get enough positive reinforcement from my parents about it. It's only the rare 12 year old who is self motivated enough to do his practice all on his own. A high schooler is different.

Lately, I've been wanting to pick up a guitar again reaaalll bad. Also, my first guitar was a crappy acoustic. I wanted an electric. So I think part of it was also that I couldn't create the sound I was looking for.

Now if only I could pay for lessons...

Guitar is awesome, you should definitely go for it! Personally, I love acoustic, but if you prefer electric, then go for that!

You can get a decent electric for fairly cheap, especially if you don't mind getting a used one - just make sure you go with someone who knows what they're doing.

As far as lessons, you can learn the basics from a friend, and with just basics, there's a LOT that you can play!

I still remember most of what I learned.

Don't worry, I'll let you guys know when I release my first studio album....

I'll take the millions I'll make from it and donate to GYE!

You're right. It's going to go at least quadruple platinum in the first 3 weeks...not to mention all the concerts, endorsements, etc.
