thanks guard for sharing!!

A few months ago I made a "pact" with Hashem!! The end of the month was coming and I had "huge" bills to pay and I mean HUGE with no conceivable source where to obtain the $$$$$$$$$$.

So I said to the Ribono shel Olam "Master of the World get me thru the 31st and I promise You I will never ever worry about anything again"!!!!

Nu, the 31st came and went and somehow the obligations were covered, I'm not even sure how, but we made it thru!!

Do you think I kept my side of the pact? My side of the bargain? He*k NO!! Here I am, worrying my head off how I'm going to get thru the 31st of this month

Once you r here on GYE there is no leaving "its a one way street" as the holy Battle"never"worn has said. Chasdie Hashem I'm am still forging ahead, one day at a time! Today is 107 days and I'm trying to get to 180 days, of course one day @ a time only thru the chesed Hashem!

Today thru the kindness of Hashem is 117 days (or 16 weeks rounded down) on my sobriety journey.

Last night "chalom cholamti" but I caught myself and woke up just in time!

I wonder if maybe I'm getting to comlacent, maybe even a bit cocky and arrogant in my struggle with the Mr Lust Addiction.

Perhaps this was a "wake up" pun intended- call to me.

Please chevrah, daven for me that I never loose the humility of "day one" on my sobriety journey! Cause everyday is really just "day one" and "one day" of the sobriety journey!
