With as much humility as I can muster I thank u hashem for giving me the gift sobriety. Today is day 91 on my journey!
Yesterday I posted a small "snapshot" of my story -thank you all for your positive feedback and encouragement- and feel compel to clarify something that I wrote that may give an untrue depiction to who I think I am -
I wrote some may consider me a Talmud Chacham" let me state unequivocally that I do not consider myself one for I know how little torah I actually learn!!the sole reason I brought that in is for the cautionary value of that aspect of "my-story" meaning that even if a person may be considered a Torah scholar they are not immune from the wiles of the YH. This is also why I'm so touched by the story of Rav Amram chasida, that teaches us that even when a man is referred to as the "Chief Rabbi" of the pious ones still is not guaranteed immunity from th YH.
Master of the World I pray lest I never let down my "Guard"
For I may be asleep to "him" but "he" sure as day is awake to little ole me
Bhavas Olam u'Bahava Raba
Humbly yours
Noorah from the house of Amram
