So, I was thinking.... (Don't worry Dov, not to much  )

Something Duvid Chaim said. He said that we need to connect to our inner child. To remember a time when we were truly happy and self-confident, a time before the addiction started, or before the trauma that caused us to run to our addictive comfort zone.

I recommend everyone think about that child within himself/herself and connect with him/her. Remember what that child felt and how he/she acted.

I guess I'm starting to connect to that inner child.

I remember him now. For many years I had forgotten that he had ever existed.

Can you believe that up to age 12 I was extroverted, self-confident and happy? I actually used to put on one-man shows in front of my class, and prepare the material the night before, in my spare time.

Then something traumatic happened to me at age 12 (sorry, I won't go into details) and everything changed. I turned from a happy innocent child into an angry child with low self-esteem, got older, and discovered how to escape from the world. The rest is history, until a couple of weeks ago when I'm trying to rewrite history.

I did think my destiny was to try to free myself from the addiction, yet fail and die unclean. Now I know that even though I am an addict I do have a choice on how to act. My fate is not predetermined.

I think that is one of the most important things I've written in my entire life, and I've written a lot. I'll write it again. Now I know that even though I am an addict, I do have a choice on how to act.

Wow.

MOMO... (OMG!! I JUST HAD AN A&W MOMENT! I DECIDED TO SEND YOU THIS, AND JUST AS I TYPED YOUR NAME I GOT A TEXT FROM MY SON, WHO'S NICKNAME AT HOME IS MOMO!!)

Rod Sterling, where ARE you?!

Anyway, like I was trying to say, MOMO... (please scroll down....)

More and more will get revealed, and the burdens will get lighter and lighter. And soon we see that the only one who can really add to the burden again, is........us. And the quickest way to do that is using "drugs".
It gets even better, Momo.

Did you know the largest size you can use is 99pt? 100pt doesn't work, I tried it.  :D
Guard, if I copied this post 59 times to everyone's thread, would I break the server?  ;D

How do you do big sizes? I tried and it didn't work?

Hi y'all!

Spiritually, doing fine, B"H. (Physically I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but at work today anyway.)

Yesterday I finished my 21st day.

I remember that my 21st year was my best year yet (and cleanest!). Makes sense that yesterday would be such a special day for me (the going away party for Uri).

Good day everyone!

Habaletaher,
To increase your font size, select the text you want to enlarge, then click the button of the A and the arrow pointing up and down (second from the right in the first row).
You'll see the following tag at the beginning: size=10pt.
To make the font larger, change "10pt" to the size you want. Sometimes I use 30pt, sometimes 40pt, or even 50pt.
The largest you can use is 99pt.  ;D

Ach! I'm so disappointed with myself. I was flipping through the newspaper and found something that made me slip.

But at least I didn't fall.

I started reading newspapers when Rav S forbade me to use the Net. I guess I should stop with the newspapers and only glance at the news headlines on the Net to catch up on the news.

Habib, I LOVE your pet rocks.
You reminded me that I had a pet rock when I was a kid. It was "in" then (hope I'm not aging myself  ).
