on the more serious side of things, i thought to myself last night that whenever God removes someone great, it is so that others can stand in his place, if moshe did not die, yehoshua could never have stepped in, being more necessary for the people of his dor, like we say yiftach bidoro ki.....and ein licha elah hashofet shebiyamecha
well, if bards is for some reason not here, we better put some lessons of simcha into our posts, because SA/GYE or not, those lessons really could help everybody
