I never met a YEKKE that's a shmendrik

And definately not an oisvorf

There is much much we can learn from the KEHILOS Ashkenaz

Although it seems so old fashioned

But the Yekkes have real values

Hey what does a chassidishe truck driver like Bards know...

Well, Adam Harishon was SUPPOSED to be the first Yekkie.

But after he ate from the Eitz HaDaas (not the Das Yeshurim), he was late for his next appointment.

Hashem called him, and when he didn't show up, Hashem looked up from his watch, and asked B'tomeeya:

"A Yekka?"

I know this cuz it says so in the Toirah. It's just a matter of how you read it.

Like those two boys going down to their old swimming hole one morning, to find a sign posted there reading

STOP
NO SWIMMING ALLOWED

One boy turned dejectedly for home, the other boy started undressing for his dip.

The sad boy said - "What's with you? didn't you read the sign?"

The other boy answered "You didn't learn ANYTHING from Gemorrah Shiur?"

"I can read the sign just like you can. It says:

STOP? NO!!
SWIMMING ALLOWED!

Have a GREAT SHABBOS Reb B!!
No one is so small that he can not give help, and no one is so big that he doesn't need it.

R' Steve, We love your posts!!! Boy, do they show your talents with words. They're GEVALDIGGGGGGG!!!!!  (It seems that Bards hasn't posted many GEVALDIGs in a while...)

After all, from a GEVALDIGE person as yourself we wouldn't expect anything less.
