Day one.

This is my brand new thread for my brand new journey towards purity.
I will keep with me the lessons learned so far and keep my eye on the ball.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

A porn and masturbation free life.

A life of positivity and happiness.

A life of Torah and Avodah.

The life G-d intends for me to live.

Wish me luck.
I am a bochur with a passion for meaning and truth, searching to remain clean and live a holy and fulfilling life.

Wish me luck.

Best of luck overcoming your struggles.

We're all rooting for you!
:pinch: Warning: Spoiler!
Think about how good you'll feel if you say no to desire and compare that to how bad you'll feel if you say yes.

Desire is unique in the way that it is never fulfilled -  if you give in the desire comes back even more powerful in just a few days. Telling yourself that its ok because this is really the last time doesn't work because you are just adding new images to your head that will cause future falls.

The Joy of triumph over the yetzer hara is worth the effort it takes to win. It IS worth it! Keep fighting!

שבע יפול צדיק וקם.

I don’t know where to find the famous R’ Tzaddok on this possuk, but the point is that a Tzaddik is defined by his persistence in getting up again.

Ahh, such a Yesod Gadol in Avodas HaShem. To “Never give up.”
My Rebbi in Yeshiva who I’m close to, who is very much an older litivish and a shtikl intimidating type of guy (meaning, not someone to give “inspiration”) told me that “the difference between guys that are matzliach and guys that aren’t, is that those who are matzliach accept there chesronos and get back up.”

Keep moving forward and keep shteiging buddy.

With much admiration,

 YeshivaGuy

I’m under a large amount of stress right now.
But I’m clean today.
Gotta count my blessings.

Thank you Hashem!

Didn’t find it in 49. You sure it’s not a different one?

Good morning!
Got a pretty good start to my day.
Have a very stressful event happening today.
Otherwise I should be good.

Thank you Hashem!

Day three:

Just updated my tracker. I’m on level 2!

I need to learn to celebrate every clean day. Cause it’s value is infinite to Hashem.
Even if to me success means never falling again...

See Tanya chapter 25 regarding each and every Mitzva
״ויחוד זה למעלה הוא נצחי לעולם ועד״.

Good night.
Looking forward to a great, clean day tomorrow.

ODAAT.

Learn the perek and you’ll find out...

As far as אין עוד מלבדו- it’s a reference to a famous story about a yid named Reb Binyomin Kletzker. Maybe I’ll post it tomorrow...

It may be beneficial to you and the other users here.

I fell last night, after all that...

So I rise to fight another day.

One day at a time.

I don’t have a concrete strategy to deal with intense urges. I need to write something down today. All ideas are welcome!
