Sigh...Rage, now you're making me want to raid your cabinet!

If the kumzitz ends up happening, if it coincides with my 90 days (b'ezras hashem), I'm thinking about bringing a l'chaim...

Rage, would you come to a kumzitz?

For you? Well, I don't know many punk songs, but we can do some alternative, if you want (at least, as far as I'm concerned)...I can play a bunch of solid stuff...

Greenday...well, that's borderline punk, maybe...no?

I can play one or two of their songs, but most of their stuff doesn't translate that well to acoustic...

I can do some smashing pumpkins, nirvana, alice in chains, metallica, etc...

Ragester - sorry for this short highjack of your thread for alcoholic purposes.....but:

Reb b - Not that I am even close to done with my bottle of Woodford (only for after the fish at Shabbos seudas), but someone told me that "Elmer T. Lee" is better than Woodford. Are these rumores true, a machlokes, or sheker v'chozov (bar minon! Puy!) ?

Humbly and fearfully,

- your happy little talmid

Ok elmer T is pretty good bifrat it is cheaper than woodford

Elmer is mamesh from the ziknie hador in bourbon always wears a cap
Dach zich meer he changed the name. To rebel yell or buffallo run nisht zicher

But "Voodferd" sounds more Rebbish

But elmer is worth every penny

Listen RebbeRebBer=DOV

Invite rage and myself over

We will leave you with Kedem purple kiddush grapejuice

BTW soon costco has the huge kedem grape juice (almost as big as a poland spring water cooler size)

Its great

Yupp by the first kos of the seder you have a purple mabbil

greenday is like the ambasadors of punk...its like a gateway-punk-band...

they actually wrote accoustic songs, you know...btw, you know bad religion put out some accoustic too..its mad awesome..

i absolutely love nirvana and the pumpkins and alice in chains but as a punk rocker im sworn to hate metallica (even though i secretly like their stuff too)

Really? bad religion? Any recommendations?

Re: metallica, I can only play a few slow songs (nothing else matters, mama said) - we'll play it after everyone else leaves, so there are no witnesses! Or, you can complain bitterly, but sing along anyway.

Reb b.

Thanks for your chochmess in this meshugeneh topic. I was curious, r"l.

But guess what? The guy pushing me to Elmer land has no chance.

I drink a shot of your Woodford after the fish on Shabbos and say, "in the z'chus of the Berdichever!". My kids say, "whay do you so that, Abba?" And I tell them about the first Berdichever and tell them that there are people nowadays who walk in his footsteps. They think I am nuts.

I'm a bit late in this conversation, but I highly recommend Basil Hayden as one of the best bourbons out there. It's a bit more expensive than the W, but ah... so goood it makes me recreate the fish-chicken soup changeover a couple times a week if you know what I mean...

Rage, If there ever is a kumzitz (and we can convince you to come), I'm going to look forward to hearing you play!

Haba - how expensive IS a bottle of woodford, and Basil H?
