I guess I'm not a normal dude then. I'm way more emotional than most dudes (but I do a great job hiding it!). Today is day 29. I'm feeling a little down for no particular reason, but I'll be ok. Time for shabbos!  ;D ;D

hey, hope you're doing OK - Do you have any replacement activities to do when you're feeling down?

Hey Ano,

I hope Shabbos painted some simcha back in there! I'm a newbie so to me Day 29 is quite a serious accomplishment! Keep it up!

I too get the occasional "I'm depressed and have no idea why..." thing. So many of us are holding in so much, possibly repressing a lot as well, and definitely living under the stress of the secret lives our addiction brings us to, that it is a wonder that we only get that occasionally!!! I find that when I get that, just getting more active snaps me out of it (somewhat).

All the best,
HAba

Shabbos was great, and was day 30! I'm feeling great now. I'm hoping I can beat my seven months from last year. I know I can...just taking it one day at a time. I've got sooo many people backing me up, that I don't think I have any room to slip up.  ;D

I think that adopting a baby seal is probably not something you mention on a first date...maybe save it for later, to be casually and carefully brought up during an aquarium date!

It's great that you feel your connection with hashem so strongly in this endeavor!

Had a slip today.  > I'm adding one more site to my mental "do not go" list. WAY too many triggering things to be found there, despite the great humor I got there as well. Oh well. I shall not go there any more.
